He purchased some new seats for the boat so we put them on, vacummed, and washed the boat. We got out on Lake Chesdin public boat landing a little before 4. The water temp. gauge was reading 55 degrees but I don't think it was that warm. We hit a couple of spots but the wind was blowing us around so we headed for a nice strip of bank with a deep drop off. After the third or fourth cast with a yum dinger I saw my line pull tight and I reeled down and set the hook. At first my James and I thought I was hung but then I felt the head shake. Luckily my drag was set pretty good and after about 5 minutes or so I got the fish to the boat. The fish weighted 5 pounds 3 ounces. We hit a few other spots but did not have much luck before we headed in for the day. Not bad for the first day on the lake this year. I will post the pictures on the site later. Budda
