Spring Turkey Season

Brook Valley Hunt Club scored two birds this past weekend.  Both Brandon and I got a bird.  Brandon took his bird at 7:10 in the morning, after a brief run he got setup and had 5 or 6 birds come in.  He said that he shot the middle one out of three gobblers (the big one got by him).  For my first spring turkey hunt I went out with John and we scored on a small bird.  I will have to brag that my shot was close to the 50 – 55 yard range (lucky).  Photos below and more will be posted on our Hunting Virginia Photo Gallery.

I have been working the wind storm the past two days, but I am getting in a quick report. John killed one this morning that is said to be 21lbs. I am sure pics are on the way. Two days of hunting and 3 birds. Pretty good average so far. Lets go back Friday Budda, what do you think?
