A little about the founding members of hunting-fishing-virginia.com.

Matt Oliver graduated from Orange County High School back in 1998 and then went on to Bridgewater College where he gradauted with a BS in Business. He has lived in Roanoke, Orange County, Culpeper, Virginia Beach, and now he resides in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Matt met Brandon Slaughter and John Simon his freshman year at Bridgewater.

John Oliver is currently enrolled in Orange County High School and a member of the national award winning OCHS anglers club. John and Matt have been hunting and fishing together for more than 10 years, thanks to their dad Robert Oliver who taught them everything they know. John is currently fishing in local tournaments with the OCHS anglers club.

Brandon Slaughter graduated from Dinwiddie High School and went on to Bridgewater College where he graduated with a BS in Economics. He has lived in Dinwiddie, Virginia for most of his life.

John Simon graduated from Ocean Lakes High School and went on to Bridgewater College where he graduated with a BS in Biology. He grew up in Virginia Beach and now lives in South Carolina. John still comes back to Virginia to hunt turkey, whitetail deer, and bear.
